Trump’s “Weave” Becomes Hot Trend In Retirement Homes
The residents can't get enough of it!
A hot new trend has made its way into retirement homes across America, and it may have a little something to do with former President Donald Trump.
Inside various retirement homes across the country, a new trend called the "weave" has taken over. The "weave" refers to a speaking style, made popular by former president Donald Trump, in which one starts speaking about a certain topic, goes on as many tangents as they can muster, and then arrives back at the initial topic.
When asked for comment on the impact of the "weave," one retirement home assistant stated:
"The residents here are obsessed with the ‘weave.’ Before Donald Trump, we thought they were just straying off in thought; speaking in winding run-on-sentences all day. Then Donald Trump put a name to this style of speaking, and now it all makes sense. They’ve been ‘weaving’ this whole time."
Even other high profile politicians have hopped on the trend, including Jimmy Carter, and Joe Biden just before he dropped out of the race.
Although popular, it seems the elderly are alone in adoption of the trend. The younger generations have chosen not to embrace the fad as they prefer the style of speaking called "direct communication."
