Trump Poll Numbers Hang On Despite Zachary Levi Endorsement
He's here to remind voters he's not liberal and, due to box office, he's not elite.
New polling numbers are in and Donald Trump’s numbers hold fast despite a new endorsement from Hollywood’s big-ish star.
Zachary Levi (Chuck, Tangled) put his weight behind the Trump/Vance campaign over the weekend and, to the delight of Trump’s campaign staff, the numbers haven’t moved a smidge.
"For the numbers not to move - it’s a victory for us," said one Trump staffer. "Our strongest demographic is young men, and our research suggests young men think Zachary Levi is ‘mid’, which is the worst thing you can be to these guys."
Another staff member stated, "We know it’s a bit early, but we hope this is our ‘October surprise’ because I think we’ve weathered the storm quite nice."
Levi himself had to remind Trump voters that although he’s from Hollywood, he is neither liberal nor elite. His box office numbers should support the latter claim, but this is a group of voters that like to do their own research, so ultimately, his status is what they decide it to be.
Levi knows the risk of speaking his truth. He said the move to endorse Trump could mean "career suicide," seemingly unaware his career died sometime ago.
