Trump Displays Conservative Spending; Hires Gavin DeGraw, Billy Ray Cyrus for Inauguration
“This new administration is going to spend within it’s means.”
President Elect Donald Trump will be inaugurated on Monday, January 20th and he’s already exhibiting the type of behavior we can expect from his administration over the next four years.
Donald Trump has tapped the very affordable Gavin DeGraw (One Tree Hill theme song) and Billy Ray Cyrus (Miley Cyrus) to perform at his inauguration festivities, making a loud and declarative statement that his administration will not spend frivolously, but responsibly and within their means.
The list of performers for Donald Trump’s big day also makes evident his business acumen.
Why hire one A-lister when you can hire eight D-listers for the same price?
That’s the savvy efficiency we will be expecting from this administration in the coming years.
A Trump staffer highlights the strategy that went into selecting the performers:
“Look, Donald Trump knows what he’s doing.
He’s handpicked names that won’t outshine his own.
Take, for example, the name Parker McCollum: Is that the name of a performer at the inauguration, or is that the name of your grade-school son’s ADHD friend?
I’ll throw one more at you: Sam McPhearson. Is that the name of a country singer performing at the inauguration, or is that a name I just made up entirely?
If you can’t tell, Trump’s done his job.”
You can watch Donald Trump’s handpicked band of affordable performers play for their careers this Monday during the Inauguration Day Ceremony festivities.
