A new report released today revealed that all televisions tuned to NFL games are “too loud.”
The report done by QCA (Quiet Children of America) found that regardless of what the volume is set to, if an NFL game is on, it’s bound to be too loud.
The report showed these findings to be true regardless of setting:
Grandpa’s house? Too loud.
Your friend’s den? Too loud.
Buffalo Wild Wings? Too loud.
On your phone in public? Too loud.
One participant of the study gave their explanation as to why they watch the NFL at such a high volume:
“It’s really about the experience. I want to feel like - [inaudible] - and to see what it - [inaudible] - cheese trays.”
The same study by the QCA found that watching NFL games too loud can lead to an increased chance of the following:
Doing a single clap too loud.
Shouting “Come on!” too loud.
Yelling “Huh?” to your spouse too loud.
