JD Vance So Civil; Pitches Walz on Sleepover
We don't agree on a lot, but we can agree on Domino's & Mountain Dew, am I right?
After the Vice Presidential Debate on Tuesday night, JD Vance was feeling good.
His poise and composure were praised by political strategists on both sides. A highlight of Vance’s performance? His civility.
Both JD Vance and Tim Walz were very civil throughout the debate, but Vance was uncharacteristically civil which is apparently more impressive.
Vance was so civil, in fact, that towards the end of the debate, he started to mistake the feeling of a mutual civility with Walz for a genuine friendship.
It all came to a head when after the debate, JD Vance asked the Walzes if they would like to "stay the night at his place." The very simple question threw Tim Walz and he stumbled his way to a "we’ll see".
After leaving the debate, Vance was hopeful that his newfound rapport with Walz could blossom into a true friendship. He sent Walz a follow-up text, but unfortunately, did not receive a response.
