Man Outsmarts Powerball Odds by Purchasing Second Ticket

Statistically improbable? Not with this hack.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are statistically improbable - 1 in 292,201,338 to be exact. However, one man is trying his hand at thwarting those odds by purchasing a second Powerball ticket.

The man was at his local gas station when he decided to purchase his first Powerball ticket, but just as he was about to leave the establishment, he was struck with a genius thought.

"I crunched the numbers in my head real quick and realized, ‘Wait a minute, if I buy a 2nd ticket, my odds nearly double’."

Odds be damned, the man threw caution to the wind and purchased the second ticket.
