Jennifer Lopez Moves Concert Start Time To 6:00PM To Accommodate Fans
Aiming to get fans home in time for a fair bedtime.
After the release of her quasi-documentary, "This Is Me... Now: A Love Story," Jennifer Lopez announced she will be going on tour.
The name of the tour was initially, "This Is Me... Now," however, after lackluster ticket sales she quietly renamed the tour to, "This Is Me... Live / The Greatest Hits." This name change aimed to ensure that concertgoers understood the show would be happening live, and not now, as 'now' is a relative term. Additionally, the name change conveyed that J-Lo would be playing her greatest hits in addition to her new songs.
Unfortunately, the name adjustment did not affect ticket sales in the way J-Lo and team had hoped, so they decided to deploy a new tactic: moving the concert start time to 6:00PM.
By moving the start time from 8:00PM to 6:00PM, J-Lo and team are making the tour much more accessible for the generation who grew up with her music, or caught her movies on E!.
