Brutal: Brother-In-Law Asks For Gift Receipt

He’s pretty much turning down a bid for relationship.

In a devastating turn of events, a local man’s brother-in-law asked for a gift receipt shortly after opening Christmas gifts.

The man hoped that the gift - a multipack of Marvel Punisher golf balls - would be an opportunity to bring the two closer. Maybe they could bond over golf! Perhaps they could bond over Marvel’s Punisher and what he means to this country “at a time like this.”

Unfortunately, that conversation never came to be.

The brother-in-law was kind about the request, asking in private and off to the side. Although the ask was coy, it didn’t change the brutal fact that he had absolutely no use for the gift.

What’s worse? The golf balls were on sale, meaning the gift receipt would only yield a small amount of store credit to BoxLunch.

After being asked for the gift receipt, the man went quiet for a minute before saying:

“It takes a lot for a guy like me to open up.

This’ll be the last time.”
