What does the year have in store for us?

To kick off the year 2025, we have 10 predictions you can count on to happen this year:

1. PrizePicks airs Super Bowl commercial with The Rizzler
   Starting off with a layup here: The Rizzler will be in a Super Bowl commercial.
   
   Another inevitability is that the sports betting apps will have Super Bowl commercials littered with influencers, streamers, and other online celebs.
   
   This all coincides with The Rizzler being featured in a PrizePicks commercial. I’d bet on this in PrizePicks if I could.
   

2. President Donald Trump jokes about adding a new book to the Bible
   It will be leaked that in a closed door meeting, President Donald Trump floated the idea of adding a new book to the Bible.
   
   When asked about this, the President will say it’s a joke and that no one has a sense of humor anymore.

3. Jimmy Carter is reincarnated as Baby Beast
   The late Jimmy Carter is welcomed back to this earthly plane in the form of Baby Beast - the child of Mr. Beast and his wife, Mrs. Beast.
   

4. Floppy disk manifestos takes off
   The rise in assassins and crazed killers combined with a yearning for physical media results in manifestos being left on floppy disks, sending police on manhunts like it’s 1990!

5. A K-Pop band called Q’N’Q emerges
   A new K-Pop boy band called Q’N’Q (Quantity & Quality) launches with 3 really good singles.

6. Slang word "tails" emerges
   Originating from the phrase "it’s raining cats and dogs," this new slang word can be used as a substitute for the aforementioned phrase during periods of heavy rain.
   
   Example: "It’s tails outside right now, it hasn’t stopped raining all day!"
   

7. Post Malone releases a new patriotic anthem primed for 4th of July.
   Fully pivoting to country, Post Malone puts out a patriotic anthem with words like "truck" and "old soul."
   
   It’s strategically timed for the dog days of summer and positioned to become a new 4th of July anthem.
   
   The song will be so good, your mom will say, "I don’t care for the way he looks, but what a song."

8. Nick Bosa goes on The Masked Singer

   The San Francisco 49ers star goes on The Masked Singer and lasts two episodes while disguised as "Elroy the Elephant."

9. Wicked: For Good gets renamed to Wicked: Too Good
   While the title Wicked: For Good is well intentioned, a minor mistake was made as the title includes a pun on the number 4 instead the number 2.
   
   Being that this is the second Wicked movie and not the fourth, this is absolutely confusing.
   
   Changing the title to Wicked: Too Good would both include a pun on the number 2, and would indicate to the audience that the movie is really good.

10. A new god, Pezzle, comes out
    Pezzle, the god of confusion, is revealed and offers followers questions rather than answers.
    
    Pezzle is a refreshing twist on existing deities and amasses followers who are looking to lose themselves in riddle.
